Before first use, remove the mat from inside the barrel. The device undergoes a 1-3 minute self-test upon initial power-on, during which all buttons remain non-operational. This is not a malfunction, and the device becomes fully functional after the self-test is complete.
The device is equipped with gravity sensors at each corner of the litter box bottom, which may be impacted by blankets or cat mats beneath, affecting sensor accuracy. Ensure the device is placed on a firm surface for optimal performance.
The infrared sensors can automatically stop rotation when your cat approaches, ensuring safety. The default clumping time is 3 minutes, but it is recommended to set it to 5-10 minutes for better urine absorption and to reduce sticky bottom and urine leakage issues.
